This is the CAIDEL demo store. It is a working WooCommerce shop we use to showcase our AI shopping assistant on real catalogue data. Products are fictional, and no order placed here is fulfilled or charged.
How we formulate
Every formula in this catalogue is vegan and cruelty-free. We publish the full INCI list on each product page rather than hiding it behind a tab, because an informed shopper — or an AI assistant acting for one — needs the actual ingredients.
What we leave out
- No sulphates (SLS/SLES)
- No silicones
- No parabens
- No synthetic fragrance in any product marked fragrance-free
- No microplastics — our scrubs use sugar, coffee grounds and bamboo powder
Packaging
Facial oils and mists ship in recycled glass with aluminium caps. Body and hair formats use post-consumer recycled HDPE. Labels are biodegradable and printed with vegetable inks.
Sourcing
Shea butter is sourced through a women’s cooperative in Ghana. Rosehip and sea buckthorn oils are cold-pressed in Europe. Coffee grounds in the body scrub are upcycled from Amsterdam roasteries.
Patch testing
Botanical does not mean hypoallergenic. Essential oils are common sensitisers. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours before using any new product on your face.
